What can I say about this manga?Well, the art is beautiful, it's probably one of the reasons why I still stuck around reading the story. All the characters are beautifully drawn and there's a lot of attention to details. The story itself it's interesting, it has potential, but now things are going a bit downhill. Some plot holes are appearing, things are complicating. And the character development... Things started off well, but now Yuki is just a selfish, desperate girl, with no development.I'm going to read it until the end, eventually, but I'm sure my rating will still be the same at the end. Man I don't even know likeMaybe it's the translator?Maybe it's the fact that I need to re-visit this series?Maybe it's just as obvious as me wanting to punch Kaname in the god dam dick.I DON'T GET HOW ONE MINUTE YUKI CAN BE THIS LIKABLE HEROINE WHO CLEARLY HAS A FLESHED OUT PERSONALITY, LOOKS OUT FOR OTHERS, KICKS LIKE ALL KINDS OF ASS- AND THENOH MY GOD KANAME SAMANO GO RIGHT AHEAD, RIDICULE ME AND MAKE ME YOUR SLAVE AND CLAIM OWNERSHIP OVER ME.Listen kids, that's fine in you're in a healthy bdsm relationship. That's your choice! It's completely normal and good for you. This isn't.Hino's art style is great, and her comedic delivery is a god send. I just miss the old days, and OH I DON'T KNOW...ACTUALLY KNOWING WHAT THE FUCK WAS GOING ON.I JUSTWANT TO PUNCH KANAME SO HARD(but love his familiar forever and ever)(ps, also, I like how Hino represent's Kaname in her mini comics at the end of the novel. His dry humor is appreciated, and he's a hundred times better than she's writing him right now)siiiigh(pps, guess i'm counting manga on my reading challenge this time around)
What do You think about Vampire Knight, Vol. 13 (2011)?
What can I say? Matsuri Hino never disappoints.
