Honestly... I think I'm a little disappointed with this one. Don't get me wrong, I read for entertainment purposes and have thoroughly enjoyed the SoT series but something has definitely changed since Phantom. In the beginning of the series Terry Goodkind was reliable in that the beginning of the book drew you in, craziness took over for the majority of the book and then he did the impossible in the very end by wrapping it up, fixing everything, and giving you a fulfilling ending (yet still made you want to read the next one ;) ). Now... I just feel, Idk, let down? I will still read the next one, it was a quick read and an entertaining one, I just hope it fixes what this ending did not. Wow. I'm spearhead. There has to be another book. There just has to be! I was not sure how I'd like the book after reading reviews. After finishing I can see how people both hated it and liked it. It was extremely repetitive . If the repetition were removed the book could have easily been 100 pages shorter. That said, I couldn't put the book down for the last 40%. I didn't even notice the repetition because I was so captivated. If you are a Richard/Kahlan fan YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!
What do You think about Verscheurde Zielen (2014)?
Another masterpiece. It will be fun to see how the author saves Richard this time.
