Four out of Five StarsI got to book from Devon Ashley for a review!I really enjoyed this book! It was a very quick and fast read. I felt like I was on a roller-coaster ride. I really like Mel and Shane! One of my favorite quotes from Waiting On My Reason is:“You didn’t mess up your life, Melanie. You just had to take a different path. Sure it was harder, but you can’t seriously make me believe you’d go back and do it any differently.”I will be reading more books by Devon Ashley! After reading the synopsis of this book I couldn't wait to read it. I really liked Melanie from page one. It took a little while longer for me to start liking Shane, he really ticked me off in the beginning. But he thought he was doing right by his best friend, Brad. Brad was Melanie's ex high-school boyfriend. Brad was also a douche. I loathed him. I was anxious to find out what Melanie did back in high school to have everyone turn against her. The author wrote the story in a way that I couldn't put the book down. I always needed to know what was going to happen next. There was plenty of action mixed in with the love story. I ended up loving Shane by the end of the story. This book is a must read and I'm looking forward to reading more in the future from Devon Ashley.
I don't really like reading romance novels that involve kids... But what the heck. YOLO.
