This is a two star book for me, but I have to admit that I had a silly grin on my face as I was going through it, so I bumped the rating up to three. I'm not a fan of instalove, but this was sweet, and the mc's actually know each other for a long time before they become intimate. Unfortunately, there's way too much repetition in this book, which becomes irksome, and I hate dim mc's who take forever to understand what we know fifty pages before. It makes them look dumb even if they're supposed to be intelligent. Another issue I have is the classification of anal sex as the only true sex two men can have. The mc's have sex for years, but because it's not anal, it's less than real? Meh. However, this is a sweet story. It's a turn off your brain and just enjoy the ride story. Also, kudos to the narrator of the audiobook. Sexy voice is sexy. :) Hmmmm what can I say?? The portrayal of "shifters" was different from typical canon and a breath of fresh air. Want, need, desire - wrapped up in a paranormal background equals the perfect mix of hot and bothered with an extra helping of delayed gratification. These poor guys wait - for what seems like forever.... but the culmination is quite worth it! This book was pretty close to perfection.
