Fun, light romance. A nice break from some of the more political-heavy books in the Elemental World series. I liked seeing more of these two characters but I almost wish it was a full book, not a novella. They were providing a nice insight into what the machinations of Gio/Bea & Co look like from a relative outsider's POV. Because they were two strong characters, I would have liked to see more of their work before the romance story started, to see them acting professionally, so I could see the contrast with their behavior later. Still, enjoyable and a good addition to the cannon. You should read the Elemental Mysteries series before starting this spin-off series, which is a paranormal romance with lots of mystery. The mystery plotline involves the elixir, but mostly, it's a novella about Gemma and Terry's courtship and honeymoon.I enjoyed everything about the character development and the story was well integrated into the series that proceeds it. I highly recommend this writer to fans of contemporary paranormal romance/mystery.
What do You think about Waterlocked (2000)?
Loved it. Quick read, but it made me have to read the whole Elemental series again!
