This was a collection of some of Oprah's favorite columns. She shared her own struggles in life and wrote narratives with suggestions on how each of us can move forward. I did enjoy the short tales about love, support, using time wisely, and the value of friends. Reading her words came at a time when I needed a little push to feel better about some decisions. Her words reminded me that we are our own destiny and we need to do what is right for ourselves, feel good about difficult decisions, and spend time with family and friends.I will pass this book onto friends and each will take away a message of value or inspiration. Oprah tells many stories and anecdotes of how different elements of positive thinking, and good common sense have helped her in her life. This book is very inspiring book, and following some of her advice, can help in healing some of the hurts and regrets that people might have. It's the kind of good advice I've found helpful in my life. And that is nice to read again, and reflect on over time.
