It was readable, which is more I can say for some others of this genre. Fast paced, sure. Lots of sex, but at least it wasn't at all rapey. Phew. I did want to mention there were a few errors in my edition. Some times quotation marks were missing and misplaced, and there was at least one scene where the POV character starts talking about how they themself looked. It needed another editing pass, methinks. Out of all the book in the series, this one seems to be the longest. Too much drama.Too much blood & gore. It just dragged on. And still no ending for Stefan. I like reading about the same characters, so I will be reading the next book in the series. If you are reading the series, I would suggest skipping the book. There is death. There is Adam and Clair in love.The end... See? I saved you a few hours.
