'Wrapped Up In You' is an easy to read, romantic chick-lit book, about a hairdresser Janie and Dominic, a Masai Warrior, she meets when she travels to Kenya for a holiday. I loved the insight into the African culture, and I wished there was more about it. I was slightly disappointed with the ending because secretly I wished Janie would end up with the other guy, the one who was there for her all time. I found him more likable... I felt like the book lacked twists and turns and pages, which will give you goosebumps and will make it impossible to stop reading. It was easy amd smooth read, Chic lits don't fire up my reading experience as fired-up as crime thrillers, most of the time anyway; Because the ending is always predictable and the storyline is way to similiar. But I have to differ when it comes to WRAPPED UP IN YOU by Carole Matthews because it is an excellent brilliant piece! It begins with a cliche beginning and halfway through the pages, I kept expecting it return to its cliche ending but it never did. It kept right on! And the characters are so brilliantly crafted, they are memorable and etched to my minds for many days to come. I rarely give this genre a 5-star but I do for this because it reads better than any books I have read this year. Totally awesome!
