X-Men - Qui A Tué Jean Grey ? (2010) - Plot & Excerpts
I love the art (with exception noted below) and the concept behind the story! It's a cool read - placing the X-Men characters into a story of this type; without powers, but having their powers worked into their personality traits and dimensions.I found the art too dark most of the time. I would have liked more subtle shading, rather than blackouts. Arrgh! So frustrating! I wanted to like it more. The idea of X-Men noir has merit, and I was 100% on board with Magneto as a corrupt lawman who'd once seen eye to eye with controversial psychologist Xavier, but this book was such a pain to read. No one had a distinct-enough style and the art made it seriously difficult to determine what was going on. I liked the twist at the end revealing Jean's killer, but once I finished it I resented having put the time in.
What do You think about X-Men - Qui A Tué Jean Grey ? (2010)?
Very dark, very noir. There are no good guys here.
