Yuri and Lena have appeared in the previous books, and you knew they would be getting their chance, and finally it is hereTrouble is, the 'mystery' was easily apparent at the beginning, I mean, not the why, but the who, was pretty easy to see. Also, Lena's story seemed a bit reminiscent of Benny's, actually, quite similar, just the change of family member doing bad. So why 4 stars? Well, the continuing story of the previous two couples and some closer insight into Viv and Nikolai helped, but the actual story between Yuri and Lena was sweet. I mean, truly sweet, and if you took away all things happening around and only read their story, you'd get diabetes!Sasha helped out as well, and you have to read to see who Sasha is, but he is perfect and plays a big part in the story. The entire series is each a stand alone for each couple, and their is insta-love and capitulation to giving into attraction. Even if they have held out for however long, once your story is up, you give in and start your lifelong relationship a go!That is the beauty of these stories, and the basis of all the best romances in my opinion - these people know each other, so when it is their turn, go straight into your relationship, no whiny wondering, no unneeded conflict, move forward together and face your problems! I really enjoyed the story of Yuri and Lena. Yuri is a sexy strong alpha male who overcame a tragic past in Russia to become a successful billionaire businessman. Yelena or Lena is feisty, confident, independent PR rep who also overcame a tough childhood with her criminal father and missing mother. Yuri has wanted Lena for a while but it isn’t until she storms up to him in his nightclub to tell him off that he finally makes his move. And what a move it is. He sweeps her off her feet, seduces her and tears down the walls she has built around her heart. Throw in a botched robbery, a kidnapping, private plane rides and a yacht and you have a pretty damn good love story.Like I said I enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the chemistry between Yuri and Lena. I enjoyed the unfailing brotherhood between Yuri, Ivan, Dimitri and Nikolai. And most of all I enjoyed Sasha the behemoth dog. I am looking forward to Nikolai and Vivian’s book.
What do You think about Yuri (2013)?
