A Clash Of Honor (2013) - Plot & Excerpts

I'm not a big fantasy reader but I enjoyed this so much I intend reading the rest of the books. The heroine, Gwendolyn, is a strong woman (which I liked) and the story is interesting and not too far fetched. Thor (and yes he is half Druid) is also a well developed character and I can imagine quite handsome! There are many valuable lessons that can apply to us in this day and age throughout the story. The subplots are well developed and interesting enough so that whilst I was busy with a particular subplot I forgot about the others.Only a pity that it is not a well edited book. Many grammatical mistakes and spelling errors. The author also tends to repeat the same stuff which is why it only gets an eightI must say I actually loved it and read it in one day! Short Awesome Cliffhanger. The story continues and it remains very PG13-ish. I like how the author writes around sex, never mentioning it and subtlely implying it in such a way that it does not become a focus in his books, unlike the series it some what seems like, a song of ice and fire, in which the focus of sex is to the point it turns me off to the book. 4 stars because I feel the first 4 books are peice meal and should be bound into one book. although Its smaller size could encourage new readers not to be intimidated.
