I enjoyed this book very much. It was about a small town which I have grown up in all my life. It is a wonderful love story and a bit fast paced. About a man who adopts his best friends child after the two parents passed away and about moving to a new small town and starting over. As well as a side plot mystery. It was a wonderful read. I don't expect anything less from Linda Lael Miller. If you like modern cowboys and love stories this is for you. I like these western romance stories by Linda Lael Miller. An easy read, likable characters, and my favorite a happy ending. Attorney Steven Creed adopts the orphaned boy of his best friends and moves to Stone Creek. There the first great looking woman he sees is county prosecutor Mellissa O'Ballivan. There seem to be an electric charge between them. Can a criminal lawyer and the prosecutor co-exist? Fall in love? Anything's possible in Stone Creek!
