What Happens in Vegas DEFINITELY doesn't stay in Vegas for these two. Well it started off with a very drunk marriage in a vegas chapel plot which imo wad a bit too cliche but I wanted to try cliche for once so I gave it a try. But I was definitely in for a surprise because after the initial scene nothing was cliche. Refreshing new characters and amazingly bitchy(Bev and Regina) and funny(Alison) secondary characters and great h and H. Just loved everything about the book. Heather Montgomery likes things tidy, organised and planned. So getting drunk, winning twenty thousand dollars and then marrying a relative stranger in Vegas is completely out of character...but that is what she has done. When Tony McCaffrey wakes up the next morning next to a woman he barely remembers and a hangover is not all the unusual, however, finding a marriage certificate and having his pants still on is a little out of the ordinary....After a stressful day at work I love to wind down with a book and this book was the perfect unwinding tool, if I were to construct a relaxing kit, it would contain this book, a box of chocolates and a hot man to massage your back (or other areas!) until reality faded away. It hit the jackpot with me when it made me laugh, I love a funny book and Tony and Heather were pretty damn funny. I loved Heather's dry sense of humour and Tony's massive ego and together the two of them were perfect. Although this book wasn't a deep emotional book I liked the connection between Tony and Heather they brought out the best traits of each other and made fun of the bad ones. The story line is pretty obvious in this, you know how it is going to end before you have really started it, but it is funny and sweet and although know the destination, the journey is still a lot of fun and I recommend it.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I found myself skipping ahead at one point because I couldn't bear to stop without knowing what would happen next. Generally when I skim like that I don't go back I just keep skimming, well this time I went back to my stopping place which proves I really enjoyed this one. Tony is one sexy and sweet man, when you scratch the surface he really is the total package. And sweet detail-oriented Heather isn't so stuffy as she first seems once Tony comes into her life full force. Thanks to a night of gambling, a lino ride, and lots of champagne they get themselves into quite a situation in Vegas but somehow they get themselves out of it, which turns into quite an adventure.

If you're looking for a casual, cliche, chick-lit book...then this is perfect for you. It was, at most, entertaining. The characters were fun and not too annoying. I was expecting absolutely nothing from this book, and although I wouldn't say I was pleasantly surprised, I would say that it was an entertaining read for when you're in the mood to read a book that makes you think as much as if you were watching an episode of Jersey Shore.

I love a good Vegas wedding story, but this is a DNF ... hero isn't one and situation is silly.
