Another awesome volume that is on the same spirit as the best cartoon on TV at the moment. The first issue/chapter is a mind-bending "Choose Your Own Adventure Time" which will no doubt have older readers like me nostalgic. The main story is great too as it features my favourite character, and this volume's cover star, Marcline The Vampire Queen, joining up with Finn and Jake to help out the loveable BMO and save the Land of Ooo. The only downside is that it's going to be months before another volume will be available. Sure I could get the next paperback, or even collect the individual comics, but the volumes look so great, it's worth the wait! The theme in this book would be friendship. Finn and Jake have to help their friend BMO because he was infected by a virus. Another example would be when Finn and Jake have to fight the virus and in the process Jake is crushed by the big robot and so Finn has to kill the robot to get his friend back. The author made it very clear in this book how important it is to take care of your friends and to always stick by their side. A symbol in this book would be the virus robot, it shows that people could come together and work together to defeat something. This is a great graphic novel and it is short! Great for kids that are into Adventures!
Loved the stuff about computer hacking! And, of course, all the other adventure time-y goodness.
