I bought this for Chris for Valentine's Day but I'm pretty sure he still hasn't read it. He SHOULD because it is AWESOME. It is exactly like watching the teevee show. Ryan North is a genius. So are the artists; I can tell exactly what crazy shapes Jake is making, how people are saying stuff, etc. Just . . . this thing is the best. The Lich is one of the most terrifying characters in fiction today, and I was legit worried that all of Ooo would be sucked up into his bag o' holding. I'm a huge Adventure Time nerd - and I love what Ryan North has done with the comic series. He has a very good feel for the characters and the locations, while still keeping his own style. I especially likes the T-Rex cameo.Adventure Time as a show is great for it's ability to mix lighthearted fun with surprisingly heavy drama. The comic keeps this and does it just as well. Well done. Only making it canon would make it better.
