I'm as finished as I will ever be because no matter how much I wanted to read this book I just couldn't. For one this line, " Oh my gosh...you mean...this is real?"..."That was so awsome! Where can I get tickets to the next ride?" Keep in mind this is right after he tells her he is an ANGEL and then flys her off to God knows where!! Plus this souds sooo cheesy and stupid! I would never trust him in the first place because they JUST became friends and know he is telling her this huge secret and he has wings coming out if his NECK!!! What the fuck!!! ummmm aren't they supposed to be coming out of your back!?! Yes, don't get me wrong, I know this is supposed to be a fictional book but come on! I just can't get over that. And secondly THIS line, "I was just kidding, tough guy" Don't ever, EVER say tough guy when adressing someone. I told my friend about this book and she hasn't read nor is she going to because of that ONE line right there. That may sound stupid but its just like the "Don't judge a book by its cover" thing and most people do that. I know I do. But one wrong line can change a book for the better or worse and in this case for the worse. I really did want to read this book because it sounded interesting but I just couldn't finish it after knowing how completely STUPID the MC acted all the time! Oh, Boy! I'm so sick of these dumb heroins, at first sight Taylor seems weird but likable then pretty soon she turns into someone without any human sense or reaction. And if Chris was the good guy in this story why on earth would he sit around for moths claiming being her friend and not saying a word about what's really going on? And Gabe... I don't get what's in his mind when he takes her with him. He knows what's about to happen even if she survives there won't be a life to get back to... the world as she knows would be destroyed best case scenario she'll live and hate him forever... so what was the plan? I'm not saying it didn't got potential but for me it just didn't work out.
