Another great novel by Mr. Estes. This book had me laughing and almost in tears at times. This is the first book in the series that is strictly from a male POV. I loved the character Dazz and Buff. They had an awesome friendship. It was great to see characters from Fire Country in this book also. And the world building was phenomenal as usual. This character went through a difficult character arch and it was written so well, it didn't seemed forced at all. The character changed naturally, I won't give anything away but I felt awful for him at times...Can't wait to read the next book in this series. David Estes… Great Job on this one! Ice Country is the second book in the Country Saga Series. This book is completely written from the male perspective, which is one of the many reasons it is my favorite book in the series. It is hard to find a quality YA Dystopian (or any YA genre) book in the male perspective by a male author. Its actually very refreshing.David continues his world building from Fire Country, but flipped it to create the new and unique settings of Ice Country. The newly added characters each have there own voice. There is just enough sarcasm and action to make this a complete book. Again Well Done!!!
