I loved this story. But, as much as I did, I was dumbstruck that the story suddenly ended at about 68%. That really sucked. I mean wtf. On another note, again I loved the story. Here is why, 1) Every time Alex and Jennifer drank, they always clinked their glasses. That was just amazing to me. Rather in public or alone it happened. And it made me swoon!2) Alex was just perfect. He was not a normal CEO... he knew how to cook and place a dinner setting by himself. He was a very sweet man. Even though he was married before, he was able to get thru his demons and truly be happy with Jennifer and it was so surreal. 3) Jennifer was amazing. She was so very smart in all aspects. Her business personality was on point. She went through so much as a child but was finally able to move forward it was crazy. I loved her a lot!This series in general was amazing. When I had to put the book down I was still so stuck in the story I had to remind myself that I'm in reality. I loved the story bit because the ending was where it was and nothing else said, I had so many questions that I didn't think the story should have been left like that at all! I really enjoyed this book for the most part, the two things I didn't love were how much the author has Ms. Blackwell focusing on Jennifer's weight, body, and what she ate. I really didn't like the part about the juice diet thing, and even how she spoke to Lisa about her looks was harsh at times. Plus I really got annoyed with the phrase, we come from Maine, we are Maine girls, really???? I really enjoyed reading about the softer side of Ms. Blackwell and I liked how she showed some true emotions that was great. I loved the drama in this book, full of action and the part when the rat was finally caught was crazy good. I love Alex as usual he is sexy, loving, and so strong and I have to say that Jennifer redeemed herself in this book, was able to admit her mistakes, not get carried away with certain things, loving, sweet, more open and not critical, really enjoyed reading about her in this book and man she can be one tough chick when need be. I can't say I am thrilled with the idea that I have to read another whole series to get to a HEA ending for Alex and Jennifer but I will read the holiday one yet and then take a break and return to the Unleash series later to read how they are doing, wish this would have been taken care of as part of the Annihilate series but oh well still love the series.

Wish Christina Ross would right another series. Loved this series and starting unleash me.
