I enjoyed this book more than I expected to! Alexios and Grace are amazing characters and the chemistry between them is explosive. The only problem is that I felt that the ending was a bit rushed and half-assed answers were given to issues raised by Grace throughout the book. Without any spoilers, it was almost as if The author was like "okay so these issues were raised, let me kind of maybe resolve them so that Grace and Alexios get their perfect HEA". I'm hoping that I get real answers in the next books though :) still a worthwhile read! I'm loving this series! Well, I must say that the over all plot to the story has captured my attention. Now if only the characters could do the same. The last book was definitely better than this one, I feel like the romance was a bit forced. The connection between the two was clearly physical, I just didn't buy the emotional part. It's possible that I'm just getting sick of reading the same thing in ever single one of these books - "I love this person.... But there's no way they love me back! I'm definitely not good enough for the perfection that is the person I so desperately want." Die in a fire.
What do You think about Atlantis Unmasked (2009)?
Definitely not the strongest of the Atlantis series.
