He'd hauled ass back here so he could take his mate away from this madness for a night so they could talk. Yeah, talk. As much as they needed to talk he simply needed to be with her. The bear had been driving him crazy since the moment they left her behind and apparently nothing would assuage the beast except her in his arms.
