This one starts off a tad slow (well compared to the first book and there is a bit of repetitive nature, as if the author thinks we forgot the information from the first book, but most sequel books tend to do that I suppose). The plot was similar and just as action-packed and once I got into it, I was hooked for sure. I hope he does a third one, but not sure he will. I would definitely read this one if you liked the first book (Brainrush)! Brainrush was better though, but I enjoyed this one too... Jake Bronson is back from his adventures in Brainrush and discovers that his nemesis was not killed, but managed to escape and is back in the attack and is continuing his plot to destroy America. Escaping an attempt on his life and that of his friends once he finds himself again on the defensive along with his friends from his adventure in Afghanistan. More captures and escapes as the foes battle each other as Jake tries to discover and thwart the terrorists plans. Does Jake survive this latest clash? Will there be a third book? We will have to wait and see.
This sequel was every bit as good as the original.....perhaps even a bit better.
