Classic Huss storyline with lots of snappy dialogue and fast action. This conclusion to the series was satisfying in that it addressed all the key points, but like the previous installment, the last chapters seemed rushed and sketchy. I get that Huss wants to follow a dynamic trajectory and wind up loose ends, but the result feels incomplete. She's a good writer, but she needs to work on her tendency to have her characters exit too fast. After all the build-up, we need more resounding finales. I went into this series thinking it was Harper and James. I ended up being so drawn to Sasha's story. I can't wait to find out more. There were so many loose ends that can be books! I know Merc is upcoming and it's obvious Nick and Sasha will get their time. And what about Vincent? Where did he end up after he swam into the ocean? I'm sure we'll find out. In the meantime, I'll work my way back through the series from the beginning. The ending has me curious about Ford and his friends. I'm sure they'll make the wait more bearable.
