If you enjoy a great deal of erotica in your romance book, this is the one for you. Lieutenant Margaret Peterson is considered a hard-nosed ballbuster in the police department, but only Dash seems to see the woman underneath who happens to enjoy submissive play. And since Dash’s brother Logan is a detective working for Margo, we get some humor as he and his partner, Reese, start seeing their boss in a new light and accept her as being in their inner circle of family.She’s been working as bait to catch the guys who’ve been grabbing women off the street outside of bars, drugging them and abusing and raping them in their homemade porn videos. They’ve caught on to her and make numerous attempts to take her out.Dash does a great job of respecting her pride and abilities while teaching her to relax and trust him.The story involves characters from the prior 3 books, which I enjoy a lot. To me it’s always been the characters that carry these stories. And the situations they confront in this book will definitely keep your attention. I do have a problem with the amount of explicit sex. While well written and guaranteed to make the reader squirm, I’d prefer a story that didn’t have quite so much of it. I just love, love, love, Lori Foster. Dash of Peril is the story of Dash and Lieutenant Margo (his brother's boss). Margo is still intent on shutting down some nasty players who are targeting women. She wants to bring them down but needs some help on her undercover work. Margo enlists the help of Dash, a very alpha male. They is so much more brewing between these two people that explodes into passion. Lori is an excellent author the never fails to deliver when it comes to her books. The storyline is captivating, easy to follow along, and has you rooting for the good guys. This is a must read book, seriously you have to read this. I give it 5 stars.
