This was a good sequel. Not as good as the first book but good because it answers a lot of questions and I liked that because I definitely wanted to figure things out after that first book. Still love Karou and Zuzana and Akiva even more than I did in the first book. Nick is ok but he adds to Zuzana. And the story continues to be interesting and unpredictable. The world the author creates is definitely a different take on angels and monsters and I really liked that. Overall good follow up but I guess you just can't compare to when you first meet characters in the first book. Amazingly intriguing book with a great general plot with an interesting concept of the angels against the chimaeras. Nice detail about Karou's experience with both sides. The fact that this book is a bit different than others really draws me to this series. It has a generally different plot to some similar genres. It really excites me to know there is another book in this series and I'm excited for the next book. Must.. Read.. Series.. But seriously, how do you come up with the ideas for the characters? It's a must read! Great book. 10/10. Great detail, fabulous plot and in depth characters.
I can't tell how much I like this book...is it like or am I addicted to it?
