¿Debo Compartir Mi Helado? (2000) - Plot & Excerpts

Loved this book! Definitely a younger read, probably kindergarten or first grade, but the innocence of the story ties in perfectly with the notion of sharing with out friends. Elephant internal struggles on whether or not to share with piggie, but the decision is made for him when he drops his ice cream. Before he knew it, piggie was offering to share his ice cream! This shows children that wanting to do something good will get you good things in return. I like the encouragement of this story; definitely a great book to teach a life lesson to children. Should I Share my Ice Cream i a picture book made for children from ages 4-8. This story was about an elephant who gets an ice cream bit begins contemplating on whether or not he wants to share with his friend piggie. He goes back and fourth so much that the ice cream melts, and he feels bad that now he can't share his ice cream with piggie. Low and behold piggie comes along and share his ice cream with the elephant. I rated this book three stars because this was a more empathy for your friends type story. The characters were obviously friends who cared about one another enough to want to share with each other. The plot was great because the elephant was trying to please his friend but ended up being pleased. The illustrations was very clean and simple. Readers would appreciate this book because it showed the meaning or sharing and friendship.

What do You think about ¿Debo Compartir Mi Helado? (2000)?

It's a little long for a 3-year-old, probably just right for 3-and-a-half.
