We all know the story of Romeo & Juliet and how their tragic love story ended. What if we were told wrong. What if Romeo actually murdered his beloved, Juliet? That's what this story is about. I really thought this was an original story. It was fun to read about Romeo & Juliet in a modern setting. Both of them have been jumping into other people's bodies trying to bring soul mates together (Juliet) or to destroy soulmates (Romeo). However, their 700 years of soul jumping is coming to an end. This was a great story. I really enjoyed the three chapters from Romeos POV. So, I'm very excited to start the sequel....Romeo Redeemed. Le me start off by saying that I for one hated the original story of Romeo and Juliet, I just found it completely absurd that two people would kill themselves because of love! Now when I saw this spin off of their story, it caught my attention really fast, like to know that Romeo and Juliet became immortal lured me into buying the book. As the book starts you can see drama happening in just a few moments, literally in like page 10 I think I gasped because of what happened because I never saw that coming, for those who have read the book you know what I'm talking about and for those who haven't then you will see. I love that Juliet has a purpose in life to preserve true love especially keep it away from people like Romeo, that feed off hatred and fear, plus make people turn on each other just because he has influenced them that its okay. The love/hate relationship that Juliet has with Romeo made me doubt her actions various of times but in a way I still had faith in her decisions. It was strange that Juliet fell in love with Ben at first but as you get deeper into their relationship you just love every single bit of it! As you reach the end of the book you can't believe what happened, you think its all over, that there is no hope at all, or is there? I LOVE the ending, never in a million years would have I ever expected that to happen, like how did the author ever think of that?! The ending was my favorite part of the whole book , when you get there you are just gonna fangirl for a whole hour at what you just witnessed. I gave this book 5 stars because its perfection, it became one of my favorite books in the whole world but I probably won't be buying the second book because it doesn't include Juliet and that just doesn't cut it for me.
What do You think about Juliet Immortal (2011)?
Doritos book. Very cheesy plot but you have to finish it to know what happens.
