I really liked this book. It was excellent; I loved the characters, the plot was captivating, and it was a really fun read, but with somewhat of a dark side. My favorite character was Pindor, because I though he was kind of funny, but I also sympathized for him because he was living in his older brother's shadow. The only reason I am giving this four stars and not five is because at times the plot could be a little too busy, and it became confusing, especially if I hadn't read it in awhile. Overall, I loved this book, though. Rollins has an amazing style of writing in which I find myself wanting to read more and more because once you start reading the world Rollins creates will completely envelope you.The combination of fantasy, science-fiction and a lot of historical facts made it fun to read and even educational!I would definitely recommend this book to lovers of thrillers / science-fiction and history.
