Maggie's sister, Mel is bedridden because of her pregnancy. Maggie spends her evenings helping her. She meets friends of Mel Maggie's nieces have imaginary friends . Her sister's friends managed to allow a hostile spirit into the home . To help her sister Maggie asked Liz and Marcus clear the house of the unwelcome spirit. After they do it one of friends informs the newspaper and outs Liz and Marcus as witches. Another friend asks Maggie to clear her place of evil things. These two stories are meshed together for the tale. This book was a quick, fun read. Being familiar with the type of lifestyle these books are about, I found aspects of this story to be believable (though most of us thankfully aren't finding ourselves using our talents to solve murders!). It's slightly amusing that one of the two romantic interests of the main character, Maggie O'Neil, has a physicality that seems typical in this genre of book (long dark hair, quiet, smoldering personality, a bit dangerous) but he's so likable that I can forgive this brush with stereotyping. I will definitely seek out other books in this series.

Loved it! Read it in one day. I just had to read the entire series in order.
