O Cão Que Guarda As Estrelas (2008) - Plot & Excerpts
Takashi Murakami - author"What did I do? What did I do for my dog? ..I should've played with him more. I should've taken more time for a walk with him. Why did I pull his leash so hard? I should've let him sniff more of the smells...of guardrails, curbs and telephone poles. More...I shouldn't have been afraid to love him more..."Recommended if you like dogs and want to read something that will make you cry.5/5 Ok, I admit it. This book made me openly sob when I read it during my lunch hour.I'm only giving it three stars, though, because I'm not sure it's much beyond an incredible tear-jerker. It's a sweet, sad story, and it will tug at the heart of any dog lover, but it didn't leave me with much of an impression beyond, "Oh my god, that was the saddest thing ever." The artist definitely has a real way with drawing dogs, though.
What do You think about O Cão Que Guarda As Estrelas (2008)?
Curse you, sneaky tearjerker in the guise of a cute, happy dog story. Boo, violence against puppies!

Such a sad story for a cover bearing the image of a cute puppy dog and sunflowers!
