Meggie Blue and her brother David, mom and Grampa never stay in one place for very long. Someone always finds out their secret and then they have to leave...again. This time they land in Fashion City where anyone will tell you, "You'll like it here (everybody does)" and they really do. The reasons why are frightening even for this family of aliens and once again they need to plan an escape. The familiar characters of the Blue family and the popular setting of a dystopian world offer readers an engrossing science fiction tale. I liked it, but then everybody does.Recommended: 8+yearsSubject/Theme: Science Fiction: dystopian This is a dystopian novel with a multi-generational family trying to find a place to belong. The theme answers the question, "What would it be like if everyone was the same?" As a librarian I could do a booktalk about this by just having students brainstorm this question. On the reverse, books with characters who have paranormal gifts could be booktalked with the question, "What problems might this person have because s/he is so different?"
Normalita, pero con un ambiente opresivo muy bien conseguido.
