Sappy, boring and predictable. The main characters; a stoic, rigid copy and a sassy, arty gal, and their rocky relationship got on my nerves early on. The story unwinds like a Judy Blume book on steroids. By the end of the story I was ready to slit my wrists. The first time in my life I could hardly wait to finish a book so I could go on to read something actually worth reading. A must not read. This book sounded good when I read the back cover, but I ended up skimming pages just to get to the love story. I only got to chapter 9 when I decided that I couldn't take it anymore. Anderson went on and on about the taggers and some street thug boss. She incorporated "the sisterhood" into her story, and captured the attraction between the two main characters. It's sad that I had to put this book aside because I wanted to know what happened in the love story, but it seemed like the author didn't want the hero and heroine to spend any time together except for some crumby community project they had to do together and that really got on my nerves. I guess I'll never know what happens in this book. Again, that's too bad. Note to self: never read this again, it was painful!
