This was the next novel in the Sisterhood Diaries, Poppy's story of her love-hate relationship with Detective Jason de Sanges from "Cutting Loose" the person who found the thief in the mansion. Jason's raised in foster care with his family mostly serving jail time he works hard to make himself enforce the rules in his own life and in his job. Poppy's parents taught her free-love, value breaking rules as an artist is undeniably attracted and annoyed to Jason. Leading an art community for some misfit teens bring them together in a funny sexy novel. Susan Andersen is usually good for a light read with some relatively hot sex scenes. Sometimes, she does too much internal monologue for both her male and female leads, not to mention, in this book, one of the secondary characters as well. While it's sometimes nice to get a glimpse of what a character is thinking, Ms. Andersen regularly takes it too far. She needs more show, less tell. But despite all that, this was still an entertaining read.
What do You think about Segui L'amore (2010)?
Read/skim and still not for me. She is a hit or miss author for me :(
