Sarah got on my nerves. I didn't like her thought process, her stubbornness and her b¡tchiness from the start and at 39% she was not getting any better so I skimmed the rest of the book hoping for a change. She finally "surrendered" to John but I wasn't digging it. On the other hand, John, I really liked. He's the epitome of a Lynda Chance Hero. The truest form of an alpha, possessive, jealous, protective, demanding and sexually aggressive man. He deserved better than Sarah. This was the second book I've read by Lynda Chance. I can't say I enjoyed it as much as Marco's Redemption but I can say it was an enjoyable read that held my attention from start to finish. John was an overbearing alpha male who was hard not to like. Sarah was strong and it was refreshing not to have a heroine jump Into bed with the hero from almost page one. Overall this was a quick, easy and well written story.
Lovely little book, you know what's going to happen, but you enjoy getting there.
