This is a bubblegum series, not nearly as violent as The Hunger Games, but also not as well written (which is not saying a lot), but I've still read every one. Beware. It has a small amount of offensive language. My favorite quote from this particular volume comes at the end of Chapter 10 of The Last Days of Lorien (Sandor's back story): "We were never perfect. There's no such thing as perfect. But it's not too late for us. We can still be good." (p. 232) (3.5 stars)3 novellas in 1. The search or Sam. The last days of Lorien. and The forgotten ones. The search for Sam and The forgotten ones are both connected. It's about a Mogadorian traitor named Adam. I would give these two novellas 4 stars. There is a cliffhanger in The forgotten ones and I really want to know what happens. The last days of Lorien was good as well but I would give it 3 stars.
Good book to hold me over until Fall of Five is released in paperback.
