Small Town Siren (2010) - Plot & Excerpts

You can totally see that this is one of Sophie Oak's early work.Though it was just as hot as the others, there was a lot missing in this book, for my taste.Through most of it, or at least at the begininng and middle, Sam felt like a third wheel. Compared to her other works, this did not feel like a threesome, at least not until later on.In addition, there was that point that Sam wasn't a Dominant as well. After discovering his attraction to Jack, though, I had no problem with him being submissive. I was disappointed, however, that all we got from those two was one kiss.I do know, from experirnce, that Ms. Oak's books are very well written and very interesting, which will defenitely encourage me read the next book in the series soon. Hot Damn! Small Town Siren had my heart pounding, my face flush, and my temperature rising. This is one read where I looked around the room to make sure no one was watching me. I almost had to break out B.O.B. or go track down Hubs to get some relief. Not for the faint of heart ladies. This one is hot, smutty, sinfull, and steamy all wrapped up in two sexy cowboy packages.Oh how I wish I was Abby Moore. Who would not want two billionaire cowboys hell bent on giving so you much pleasure that you could die of an overdose of orgasms? Sophie Oak takes and ordinary small town girl and makes her extraordinary. Abby has worked so hard to prove to the town of Willow Fork that she is worthy of their respect. She has become an amazing trauma nurse, but has taken a job in a diner while she helps out her ill mother. She is quiet and keeps to herself trying to stay out of the towns spotlight. People are still angry with her because of a tragic accident years ago. It was not her fault. She just needs to keep her head down until her mother is well enough to take care of herself. Then she can leave Willow Fork for good…That plan goes to hell when Abby’s best friend Christa shares Abby’s dirty little secret with two of the hottest and richest men in town. Sam and Jack know what they want and are not afraid to take it. Now they have their eyes set on a feisty little red head and are not going to take no for an answer.

What do You think about Small Town Siren (2010)?

This was a good read but I didn't connect with the characters as much as I did to her Bliss series.
