What do You think about The Midnight Heir (2013)?
Oh Dio.Queste novelle mi distruggono, i feels mi distruggono. Questa in particolare è molto amara e, e, e.. T.TMi fa prevedere grandi dolori per la saga di The Last Hours! ma anche tante soddisfazioni. James, Lucie, Grace, il mistero di Jesse... waaaah! *3* mi hanno incuriosito troppo e non vedo l'ora di conoscerli tutti! e beh, sono già innamorata di James. È fantastico constatare che malgrado tutti i personaggi che crea, Cassie riesce a renderli tutti TUTTI particolari e sfaccettati in così tanti modi diversi. Scusate, ma poi James è un Herondale, eh! #noregrets.A proposito di Herondale, indovinate chi riappare? Ma Will, il mio amato Will.E Tessa. #WESSAFANGIRLING I miei tesori! *3* e con Jem, loro tre riuniti sono stati un colpo duro per la mia sanità mentale. Ed il mio cuore. *sobs*Quanto mi sono mancati però!Novella fantastica, amara, profonda. E Magnus dimostra ogni volta un lato diverso della sua complessa personalità.L'ho già detto che lo amo? Bane has just arrived back in London (BC: # 3), after about 25 enjoyable years in N.Y. This one is dark and spooky and Bane learns some lessons on friendship, love and pain of the heart and he does some deep soul searching. He asks himself how he get himself into these things. Mainly due to his odd group of friends, whom he tries to be loyal to. But that loyalty is not always returned sometimes due to changing circumstances and metal abilities. In the end he eagerly goes back to N.Y. Fave quote: “…the last images of the lost. He could tell even across the years how much effort it had cost the boy to sit for that portrait, for the comfort of loved ones who would live after he was gone.’ Fave scenes: Magnus’ description of James drunken antics and the black rose.
