this is the first Eli book I've struggled with and that's because of personal preference. there was so much build up and murder investigating that it overshadowed the love story. the last chapter and epilogue is where it got good for me. I wanted to hear how Tony handled Jacks first nightmare and when he saw Jacks scars for the first time and when he introduced Jack to his Parents. heck..the story of taking Jack he to his big Brooklyn Italian family could probably make a great book in itself. overall it was good, bit the focus wasn't on the part I crave. I love Eli Easton's writing. I thought this story was pretty good for a shorter length book. I loved the attraction between picky Tony and un-confident Jack. The only part that bothered me was Jack's easy dismissal of Tony's deception. He hadn't struck me as tolerant of liars in the beginning, but when it came to his libido I guess it didn't matter. Definitely reading the rest of the series though.
Cute, simple story with a small side of medical kink, kinda.
