Three 13 yr olds, brought together by summer camp have their lives defined by the sharp sting of the tongue. Their perceptions of themselves linger for years, always fighting and struggling against what they " thought" they were. Circumstances in each of their lives change over time and they blossom, realizing that although the childish words hurt, those words never really defined them.Truly a good read, inspiring This was an enjoyable read. It brought back memories of church camp and relationships formed from childhood. I thoroughly enjoyed the relationships between Holly and Nicola. I enjoyed getting to know Lexi and how all 3 paths criss-crossed through time. This book wasn't too heavy, but wasn't too light. It touched on truthful topics...the always in the back of your mind "if only..." and you fill in the blank. It was real without being in your face real. Definitely a book I would recommend. I'm not going to say rush right out and find it, but if you see it, add it to your list.

Cute book. Nothing especially deep but the writing flows really easily. Great chick lit :)

3.75/5***** - Just a tiny touch of romance. I really enjoyed the story despite the lack.
