Jeane es una chica que a los diecisiete años es dueña de su propia marca, con la que ha conseguido popularidad y miles de seguidores en las redes sociales. Sin embargo, en el instituto todo es muy diferente, ya que no goza de muchas simpatías entre sus compañeros y tampoco entre los profesores, con los que discute constantemente para defender sus ideales. Ella se considera rara y a mucha honra, y detesta a todo aquel que no comparte esa rareza con ella, hasta tal punto que se refiere a su novio como alguien a quien ha tenido que educar en el "buen gusto". Por una serie de circunstancias, el camino de Jeane se cruza con el de Michael Lee, alguien absolutamente no-raro, y lo más lógico sería aborrecerle sin más explicaciones. De hecho, lo hace la mayor parte del tiempo, menos cuando se están besando en las escaleras que llevan al último piso del instituto. Al principio no estaba muy segura de si iba a ser una decepción, pero poco a poco los personajes se fueron ganando mi simpatía y acabó siendo una lectura entretenida, divertida y adorable. Sin embargo, tengo que decir que, aunque es un personaje con carácter y eso se agradece, su personalidad llegó a desbordarme en algunos momentos. Es muy tozuda y algo dramática, y puede que solo sea porque mis años adolescentes me quedan cada vez más lejos, pero a ratos me resultaba irritante. Do opposites really attract?This sweet teen romance novel is reminiscent of the screwball comedies of the 40s, except that Jeane is a take charge kind of woman, making it very modern. And all though it is not graphic, the sex in the book is going to make it high school readers only. Still, the story is fun,sweet and I really couldn't wait until I got home each night to keep reading it.Get this.
