I was really looking forward to this book and it was, of course, wonderful but... maybe there are just too many characters at this point. Don't get me wrong, I love all of the crazy, wonderful people on the island but I really wanted the story to focus on Adam and Abby more. I get that we need the accident and its fall out but I got tired of checking in with every character. The story jumped all over the island in an attempt to let us know what was happening with everyone. I almost miss the simplicity of the first few books. I will say that I love the way Marie finds new ways for her characters to deal with sex. Abby was in two relationships and engaged to both men yet their sexual lives were not satisfying... an intriguing way to create a new type of relationship and distance it from her first love, Grant. I kept wondering how Adam really felt about his brothers sexual relationship, or lack there of, with Abby. We know Grant has a steamy relationship with Stephanie. (Steamy might actually be an understatement!)So, now we wait for David and Daisy's story... and a catch up on everyone else?? Have we reached a hundred characters yet? It feels like it. LOL Continuing the Series with this latest edition. I read this book in one sitting and couldn't put it down. I enjoy the interaction between the characters and the family dynamic is something that I find fabulous. This book picks up where the last book left off and I must say it so doesn't disappoint. I'm not one to really go into too much detail because I don't like spoilers but if you enjoy a fantastic well written series by an amazing Author. Can't wait for the next book.
What do You think about Waiting For Love (2000)?
It was pretty good. I like all of the storylines going on more than the main storyline.
