Okay. I've been along for the ride since discovering Magician in 1987, and was not surprised that Raymond Feist was wrapping up the whole series. with a few of the later books being a bit like "having to write a book to satisfy the publishers". This one was surprised me. I loved it. Rewind the narrative back to the Riftwar, and you've got the pace and writing spot on. It's clear that Mr Feist enjoyed writing this one. Oh well, time to read the conclusion... In shock when the first book was read.... weirdly surprised during this book and bringsback memories... cause Martin does remind me of Arutha so much.I did read this book in two days... can't wait how this serie ends..so now I'm reading part 3 and then I prob cry.... saying goodbye to a series of books thatmade me happy over the years.Feist is still one of my favorite authors. Very curious what he's gonna write next.
slow start. Killer ending. Now got to wait another year for the conclusion.
