Adventurers Wanted, Book 4: Sands Of Nezza (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
I love the idea behind these books, but I just can't look past the writing, these books act like conjugations don't exist and everybody sounds like a robot, also every single character has the same personality! And Alex never struggles to do anything, hes perfect, there's no progression, i understand that these books are geared towards younger kids but this is only teaching them that there's no struggle to life, i mean the kids a wizard/dragon/adventurer etc etc etc like i said I like the plot and overall theme of the books but the dialogue and characterization makes me not want to read the rest of them. Honestly slathbogs gold was probably the best entry to the series I feel frustrated with this book. Alex, the main character as moody and worried the whole book which wore off on me. I feel like he ignored his own advice from the previous book that worrying didn't accomplish or change anything, I guess I can understand the worry- he was on his own for the first time and had a lot more responsibility (seemingly), but still. I didn't enjoy the story as much because of the darker omnipresent mood.
What do You think about Adventurers Wanted, Book 4: Sands Of Nezza (2013)?
