while these books diverged from their tv cointerpoints more than the first i think they did so in a very good way. aarons strength and confidence continues to grow as he becomes the man he is meant to be out of the boy he once. the new depictionof lucifer/ hell was definitely interesting. the idea of hell as a state of mind rather than an actual place makes sense for anyone whos battled with depression. gabe as ever provides just enough comedic relief to keep the book from bein to dark. while id have liked a little more romance with vilma the author is a man and as such was more focused on the action :P overall though i definitely enjoyed this book and although somewhat violent i think the author managed to subtly make this a coming of age story with those lessons though this one is like no other. cant wait to finish the series Like the first book, there was a lot of BORING parts where I couldn't concentrate on it. The story line was ok but the ending shows that there is no other book to continue it but I know there is a third book. Aaron, Camael and Gabriel developed very well, especially Aaron but Vilma? Adding her irriated me and the romance between them was so lame! All together it only deserved 2 stars, no more, no less.
I knew what was going to happen, keep reading to see if i was wrong but nope. oh well.

I love Sniegoski's writing and story lines. I bet you those babies will be beautiful.
