Better Off Dead In Deadwood (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
So far my least favorite of the series. The pace seemed a little slower, and the novelty has worn off the series. This one seemed a little too formulaic for my taste. Her banter with the police detective has gone from playful to annoying, and her failure to fully commit to Doc is getting tiring. There is a reappearance of the Albinos and we learn a bit more about them, so that is good. Hopefully the next one will be more exciting. I love this series, and the way it links with the Jackrabbit Junction series. In this one, be prepared to believe, not believe, and believe again. Wacky clients aside, there's more to selling real estate than an open house. Deadwood has some definite connection with the afterlife and everyone on the other side is aiming for Violet. Saving her client from certain and gruesome death is bad enough, but having to do it while dodging the cops is just too much. Zombies, albinos, and a matchmaking daughter entertain us through this installment of the Deadwood story.
