Biancaneve E Il Cacciatore (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
3/5 stars :) I've always liked Disney's Snow White and the 7 dwarfs :) It was one of my favorite movies since I was a little kid :) So when I saw this book, I just had to get it and read it!!! So I did and I liked it, it wasn't AMAZING!!! or that I absolutely didn't like it, it was just eh. The book was good, but the review might be a little hard for me because I watched the movie, and the movies always have a case of: missing-the-most-important-parts-of-the-book-and-always-changing-it- around-it is or (MTMIPOFTBAACIAI for short :) So, I'm going to try, here it goes: Everybody has to know the original story of Snow white and the 7 dwarfs right? Well, this story is the EXACT same one but with breathtaking new vision of it. It starts off with Snow White being the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen who is out to destroy her (we get that in the original one). But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman who was dispatched to kill her, so we have Snow white who has been learning how to fight for a while now, so that she can destroy the evil queen and save her town :D (YAY!!!!) Now that was the book!!!! But if you have seen the movie ITS WAY DIFFERENT!!!! ITS GOT MTMIPOFTBAACIAI!!!!! So you see how difficult it is to write a review of a book with a movie??? I'll give you a VERY GOOD example!! And that's BEAUTIFUL CREATURES!!!! (not getting detailed with that right now, for more information go to my beautiful creatures review :)So, that's pretty much my review for this complicated book, since I have this information along with the movies information in my head, I'm going to stop so I don't give anything away and confuse you :) *Semi-Recommend* Una novela no tan genial basada en una película demasiado genial.No digo que la novela sea mala, no lo es. Me agradó bastante, pero no logró atraparme y en ciertas partes logró aburrirme. Tal vez se debió a que ya había visto la película antes de leer el libro. Pero, vamos, es difícil leer una novela que está basada en una película (y no viceversa) antes de ver la película. Y PEOR! si es que estuviste esperando la película por meses.Definitvamente para los que gustan de la temática medieval y fantástica deben leer esta novela basada en el cuento de hadas de una princesa muy conocida. En mi caso, amo los cuentos de hadas, el medioevo y a las princesas clásicas. Era obvio que vería la película (la cual me parece una obra de arte) y que en cuanto me enteré de que había novela corrí a comprarla. Reyes, príncipes, princesas, castillos, hechicería, belleza, mitología, hadas, caballeros de brillantes armaduras... todo se mezcla en esta obra, quizá no de la mejor forma pero sí de una decente. Pudo ser mejor explotada, pero no es una obra que te arrepentirías de leer.
