2.5 starsThe rule is READ THE BOOK BEFORE YOU WATCH THE MOVIE.That means, the book has to be written before the movie script. This isn't here,Which is a big let down. This is so clearly the book from a movie It's almost annoying. You only read what you watch on the screen,No extra details.Though, I enjoyed this book,Because I read it out loud for my family during a five hour car trip. What can I tell about the story? The same as about the book.Great ideas about female protagonist, interesting retake on the fairytale.Snow white is in this story clearly in love with the huntsman,Which isn't worked out well.I hope there will be a sequel for that aspectBut I don't think so After the Kristen Stewart-Rupert Sanders thing. This was poorly written. It was, despite the thrilling plotline, dull. The movie was fantastic, but this book wasn't half as good. Many important parts of the movie were left out or changed, and the book brought nothing new to the table. One of the most displeasing parts of the book was the connection between Snow and the Huntsman. It didn'y develop into the love that they clearly shared in the movie, and I found both utterly unlikable. If I hadn't already watched the movie, I wouldn't want to after reading this book. Extremely dissapointing, to say in the least.
