Blancanieves Y La Leyenda Del Cazador (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
What will happen after the tales? War.This book is like the sequel or an alternate ending if Snow White took another path instead of being a royal princess like the one from the fairytales we read when we were little kids. I like the grim, medieval setting of the story and the fierce character of Snow White, how she fought Queen Ravenna herself. Although the ending have not satisfied me much, it was still a great read nonetheless. So reading this book, I was thinking it really wasn't that good. It was boring, thats the bottom line. I get that it tried to remain true to the story of the original tale, but Snow White isn't supposed to be a warrior, she is after all the 'fairest' of them all not the deadliest. I however did like how it incorporated why the Evil Queen wanted her heart. It really should have been more fleshed out and had more character building, because it made Snow White look like a helpless locked up girl to a sudden Brave and noble warrior. I would like to have known alittle more about the huntsman and his backstory. It just gave quick revelations that really just took space in the book. Overall It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good.
