Snow White & The Huntsman (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
Lo primero que hay que decir, que si bien esta novela (que a su vez está basada en la película producida por Universal Pictures) mantiene ciertos parámetros similares al cuento clásico de Blancanieves, contiene grandes alteraciones. Segundo, que la edición es divina: contiene ilustraciones y un diseño especial. Además, incluye un par de posters oficiales de la película para los fanáticos. Esta novela es especial para el público juvenil femenino y resulta ser un regalo fantástico para cualquier ocasión. Tercero, presenta un genial argumento.En esta novela, los conocidos personajes toman un cariz más humano, la reina malvada tiene un por qué, Blancanieves no se dedica a lavar la ropa de los enanos, el príncipe no es un príncipe azul y el cazador, un hombre viudo y adicto al alcohol, será el verdadero amor. Sin dudas, la historia promete y tal vez por eso dejaron un final tan abierto. ¿Vendrá pronto una continuación taquillera? Se rumorea una trilogía, y la verdad que si continúan con la calidad de edición, yo seré de las primeras en comprar las dos próximas novelas. 3.5 stars. It is a very good modern interpretation of Snow White and the 7 dwarves. I really liked it. I saw the movie several times before I read the book, and I must say that I like the movie a tad better than the book - though you understand the movie a bit better after reading the book. And I think that it is awesome that most of the lines in the movie is taken directly from the book. Good book, that I'd read again once in a while.
