Bleach, Vol. 35: Higher Than The Moon (2000) - Plot & Excerpts
Yes! Everything is finally coming together and Aizen is about to put his maniacal plan into action. Our battles between captains and Espadas are all wrapped up, leaving the Captains in the lead. A couple things I wanted to point out, is you'd think that Szayelaporro would be able to just move a side and easily kill Kurotsuchi with his new 'super powers' that he injected him with, but yet he just begs in his mind for his opponent to kill him all ready. :/WHAT IN THE WORLD DID KUROTSUCHI DO TO HIS DAUGHTER???? Okay don't answer that.Zaraki was somehow able to get cut in this volume, but when he fought Ichigo he said no one had been able to cut him. Darn. They had Orihime right there, and then she got kidnapped back. I seriously thought that Aizen was going to make one of those creepy evil guy moves where he would have kissed her, but thank God he didn't.A huge battle is about to be engaged, but of course it's left on a cliffhanger. When you think about it, where is the 2nd and 1st Espada's? And why does Ulquiorra, the 4th Espada get to be incharge? If Nel was thrown out for so long, wouldn't Ulquiorra and all the others move up a rank? It seems strange that they would let her keep her rank. Ulquiorra was able to get out of Grimmjow's trap, but yet he didn't go back there for punishing them. He can stay very calm surprisingly.WHY DOES IT SAY CONTINUED IN BLEACH...? There has to be another volume!! ACK!! Hwoah- its happening!! Aizen in entering Karakura Town to destroy it and create the Ôken...even though all of the inhabitants of Karakura town have been put to sleep and moved to the outskirts of the Rukongai. And we finally find out why Orihime was kidnapped- he wanted to lure Ichigo and his friends, along with a few Soul Reapers to Hueco Mundo and confine them there. They are officially trapped in this wasteland while all of the other Soul Reapers are in Karakura Town to defend it...maybe now we will get to see Ichigo's dad kick some butt!!The first part of this volume was Kenpachi's battle with Nnoitora. It is quite a long battle, with many different twists and turns (even a few funny moments). It ends with Orihime being captured and taked back to Las Noches...and while Aizen in creating his war, Las Noches is in the hands of Ulquiorra. When Ichigo finds out about this, he heads off to go fight.Hwoah- such an intense cliffhanger...we've had some good ones in the past, but this could be the most intense yet. Gosh, I need to start slowing down with these because there aren't that many left (especially at the rate that I read them). Again- HWOAH!!!!!
