Usually whenever we have the really big groups and everyone separates off into pairs of two, I am often disappointed with who ended up with who, but this volume really made me impressed by the different pairings.Coincidentally, (or not), everyone either looked similar, or behaved similarly. For example, Byakuya and Tsukishima look very similar, (and sometimes act like one another), Captain Hitsugaya and Yukio look the same and might be around the same age, (but don't act like one another), and Rukia and Riruka don't look the same, but act similarly with their love of adorable things. :3Whenever Ichigo and Rukia see each other again, even in the midst of battle Rukia always seems to pummel Ichigo. He regains all his Soul Reaper powers from the sword which everyone poured their spirit energy into. Ichigo really should have killed off Ginjo when he had the chance. -_- Merciful fool.We find out that Kugo Ginjo was the very first deputy Soul Reaper, (which still doesn't make much sense to me, because if transferring powers is a serious crime, why are Soul Reapers giving them little badges to prove who they are? O-OOrihime and Chad are both going through mental memory trauma, (or it looks like it) and Kisuke and Isshin (the REAL ones) knocked them out in order to pull them from the battle. Was it really necessary for Rukia to be disguised as other people? I mean seriously, that was never explained. It made me super confused that all the Fullbringer's came running and shouted at Ginjo for not sharing Ichigo's power, and that Ginjo "promised they'd split it!" So, they were aware of everything from the beginning? They were fighting Ginjo just to keep the act? Is that why Riruka had left during Ichigo's training? Because she knew their plan and felt bad, not wanting his power in the first place? :/And what was kinda creepy was how they were all just like: "HAHAHA! So this is what it feels like!" When they got apart of Ichigo's power. It's like, that proves that Ichigo has (or had, however you think of it) strong powers, but saying that just sounds... Creepy.Yukio separates everyone into rooms with his Fullbring, and is in control of everything.Kenpachi finished his battle with Giriko extremely quickly, and got bored waiting with Yachiru, wanting to go back, (but thankfully Yachiru yelled at him).Ichigo is with Ginjo, which pretty much figures, but seeing as he was beaten up pretty bad before by him, this doesn't look too good. Fortunately Uryû got trapped in the room too, and can help keep Ichigo's head on his shoulders. Tôshirô ran around for awhile trying to find Yukio, who is in his own separate room, setting traps for Tôshirô and watching the other battles. Eventually they meet face to face, and freezing Yukio and all his creatures he created with his Fullbring, Tôshirô wants to make a deal with him, to spare his life in exchange for eradicating all the rooms.I didn't realize how much Rukia loved cute things, and at first I thought she was in big time trouble because of how distracted she kept getting, but once the two girls met she got serious, so I wasn't worried anymore. But THEN Riruka turned Rukia into a dog...? More likely a stuffed animal, and now I'm worrying again. *Sigh*, Rukia....Byakuya ends up with Tsukishima, which right away I knew this was going to be an intense battle. By colliding swords, Tsukishima put himself into Byakuya's past and he knows all his secrets, abilities, and also how to evade them. Ikkaku and Shishigawara fight intensely for a while, Ikkaku trying to figure out his opponent's ability, but eventually defeats him and has a seriously emotional talk that I wasn't expecting, about risking your life for only those who would do the same.Renji and Jackie battle it out too, also finishing in the favor of Renji, but since she is not dead, Yukio wouldn't open the room and was going to close it, so she blew herself up, (or at least it looked like that) to save the defiant Renji, who refused to kill her. Jackie seems nice, and has an interesting Fullbring power, but always loses. :/Only a few battles have been finished, and others are at the very end, but the biggest ones are just getting started!Sorry for rambling about the summary, but I'm excited for the next volume! :D AAAAAAnd... We're back to the good old BLEACH. Filled with several bloody battles that are happening all at the same time but first, let me get some complaints out of the way. The one thing that annoys me in the Fullbring Arc is that everyone from previous arcs apart from ichigo has had a new hair cut and changed slightly. To be honest, this really upsets me. When the other 'main' shinigami came back, they all looked a little more... 'rugged' (if you catch my drift). This is probably just random anger but when you've been reading a manga with 40+ volumes in it and it looks like there isn't going to be any change (EVER) it can disturb the reader and it properly messes me up! (I DON'T LIKE CHANGE!!!) I also didn't like how the whole 1st deputy soul reaper thing was explained but it's early days and there's always the wiki. Anyhow...This is why I love BLEACH! It has great battle artwork and in this arc it seems cleaner and 'brighter'. Everything in these 'fight volumes' seems ordered and perfectly orchestrated. The fullbringers have gotten stronger (all of a sudden which no longer surprises me...) but these abilities are great! I love Rirukia's ability and I just love Yukio who is the cover art and quote for this volume (which makes me happy)!I wanna find out what happens to Byakuya (but I have a spoiler thanks to Tumblr) and Rukia! NEXT VOLUME PLEASE!
What do You think about Bleach, Vol. 53: The Deathberry Returns 2 (2011)?
Twists and turns, some obvious, some not, but entertaining nonetheless.
